- To ensure that inspirational teaching is at the heart of the school’s provision, and that students’ learning experience is creative, challenging, rewarding and fun.
- To deliver a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum which will enable each student to develop the knowledge, skills and understanding appropriate to their individual capacity.
- To provide a healthy, stimulating but safe learning environment where clear boundaries for students are respectfully communicated and consistently reinforced.
- To encourage self-confidence and a positive attitude to learning, enabling all students to achieve the highest standards by the setting and achieving of challenging targets.
- To develop students’ communication skills, enabling them to interact, express their preferences and needs, participate in decision-making and become well-adjusted and confident citizens.
- To develop students’ relationship skills, encouraging shared moral values and sensitivity to others, and promoting self and peer advocacy.
