Parents are able to contact governors via the school. The permanent Riverside governing body is made up of a group of governors who represent the school and the wider community, and its structure is based on the make-up of the current temporary governing body. As with all school governors they serve voluntarily.

Governors have responsibility for the curriculum and target-setting, the premises, the oversight of the finances, personnel matters, and for the general running of the school. It is anticipated that Riverside governing body meetings are held half-termly and, as with all governors’ meetings, are open to parents/carers and the general public to attend as observers.
