A trip to our link school in Slovenia 2017

The Riverside students have arrived in, Slovenia for the exciting and creative ARTDownUp 2017 project. The students are here at Tartini Theatre in Piran with friends from the Creative Kids Support Group (CKSG) and Haringey Shed. The project has been bringing together students from across Europe to collaborate on and create a modern, contemporary performance. The students have been engaging in a variety of artistic activities, exploring the medium of performance and theatre. The project has already been making waves in the local media. The North London school Riverside have provided an international flavour to the local art project, and the team have made it into the Slovenian local paper.

The students have been lucky enough to meet the artist, Gani Llalloshi, who has been instrumental in the project's success. Gani has been on hand to provide the students with guidance and support throughout the project. The students have also been able to enjoy some delicious local cuisine during their stay in Piran. The sunny days have been the perfect backdrop for relaxing and exploring the local area.

Riverside students have had a fantastic time in Slovenia, and have gained a fantastic insight into contemporary theatre and performance. The students have made lifelong memories and friendships that will last far beyond their time in Piran.
